VSNL Lanka had signed the agreement with SLT for accessing SMW4 Bandwidth from the SLT owned cable station in Colombo. Under this agreement VSNL Lanka has got access to SMW4 cable system in Colombo. In this regard, Mr. Ravi Sankar, COO appreciated the cooperation received from TRCSL, SLT and its senior management in executing the agreement.
Currently VSNL Lanka Ltd owns around 90 Mbps on SMW3 and 155 Mbps(STM-1) on SMW4.VSNL Lanka also has got its own Stardard F3 satellite earth station as redundant path for real time service requirements. |
